60's Mod
Inspired by the Whos film "Quadrophenia"
Growing up in Farnham Surrey in the 80's, my friends and I got into the mod scene. It was a time of innocents and a fresh beginning, to a boring mundane existence in a small town.
This sculpture is a tribute to my long lost friends, great music, great Scooters and a fun era!
The sculpture is made from Chavant Clay over a wire armature, the head and arms are removable for ease of mold making, once the sculpture is complete I will make molds of it and then make copies out of resin.
